Getting an upset stomach, if your dog is like mine they can get a upset stomach with anything practically. It is a good practice to even buy dry dog food ahead of time and start introducing it to them slowly like over a span of a few days, 1/4 cup at first then 1/2 cup ..etc I’ve been doing that as my dog gets older and it seems to have worked on her. I have combined two types of dry dog food together, one a higher priced dog food and the other a regular store bought. She has always liked the “treat” version of it and she lets me know if the mixture isn’t right either.
My vet told me that I can give her some human stomach liquid medicine, I’m not sure if that would be a good idea so I purposely do not cut a section of my lawn so she can eat some grass. I found a great website on it that has a little introductory on it. Why do dogs eat grass?
This actually allows her to get sick, yes not a very appetizing subject but this is how they feel better. She just was abit under the weather and I even pointed out the grass and she went off. She’s doing better now too.
